How to download videos or images from X?

  1. Open X (x.com) or the X app and search for a post containing a video or image that you would like to download. Copy the URL of the post. A valid post URL has the following format: https://x.com/user/status/id.

  3. Select a download format. Please note: Posts containing a video can be downloaded as MP4 (Video), MP3 (Audio), or GIF (Image) files. If the post contains a GIF/JPG image, the image will always be downloaded as a GIF/JPG. The chosen format will be ignored in this case.
